6th Annual Penn Orthopaedics Cartilage Repair Symposium
April 28 – 29, 2017
Clinical and Scientific Gathering Focused on the Cutting Edge of Cartilage Repair:
Advances in Biological Joint Replacement
Featuring Keynote Speakers:
Daniël Saris, MD, PhD, Utrecht University (The Netherlands)
Farshid Guilak, PhD, Washington University (St. Louis, MO)
The symposium will include invited talks by key thought leaders in the field of cartilage biology, biomaterials, stem cells, tissue engineering, animal models, and imaging, as well as clinical methods for the treatment of cartilage damage in the knee. Speakers will also discuss rehabilitative protocols that promote successful recovery.
Attendees will have the opportunity to engage in hands on training in the most advanced repair techniques in the Human Tissue Laboratory at the University of Pennsylvania. The intent of this meeting is to build consensus, informed by clinical practice and basic and translational research, to define new directions in the field that will drive the treatment of cartilage injuries in the knee from the current status of repair towards the promise of regeneration.

Washington University Meeting on Musculoskeletal Regenerative Medicine and Biology
May 4-6, 2017
Linda Sandell and Farsh Guilak, on behalf of the Washington University Musculoskeletal Research Center and the Center of Regenerative Medicine, will host the inaugural Musculoskeletal Regenerative Medicine and Biology Meeting, to be held at the Washington University Medical School campus. The theme of the meeting is ‘From Development to Regeneration.’ This meeting will highlight the importance of foundational developmental biology, with an eye towards transformative therapies. The goal of this meeting is to highlight the importance of understanding developmental biology in the context of new transformative therapies for musculoskeletal disorders.
Abstract submission deadline has been extended to March 13, 2017!
For more information on abstract submission, meeting schedule, and to register, visit the Washington University Meeting on Musculoskeletal Regenerative Medicine and Biology website.
TERMIS-EU 2017 Davos
European Chapter Meeting of the Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine International Society 2017
26 – 30 June, 2017
Personalised Therapies for Regenerative Medicine
We are pleased to announce TERMIS-EU 2017. The conference is the official European chapter meeting of the Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine International Society (TERMIS), whose purpose is the worldwide advancement of both the science and technology of tissue engineering and regenerative medicine. In 2017 the EU chapter meeting will be held from the 26th to the 30th of June 2017, at the Congress Centre, Davos, Switzerland. We are honoured to be able to host this important meeting.
TERMIS-EU 2017 Davos will be the highest meeting of TERMIS at 1560M altitude and we aim to reach the highest level of scientific and clinical presentations (naturally along with highest Swiss standards of organization). We expect between 1000-1500 attendees to participate.TERMIS-EU is the premier event for the dissemination of cutting edge research in tissue engineering and regenerative medicine. The premier congress city, Davos, is also a Science city hosting 5 research institutes, several clinics for patient treatment and our own well equipped hospital.
We have over 20 accepted educational based society symposia from numerous European and International Societies, along with over 40 accepted traditional symposia.
