AAOS/OREF Clinician Scientist Traveling Fellowship Program Applications Now Online
The AAOS/OREF Traveling Fellowship Program (TFP) seeks to expose early career orthopaedic clinician scientists to established orthopaedic clinician scientists, promote professional relationships between early career and established clinician scientists, and provide opportunities for active mentoring of early career clinician scientists. Two applicants are selected annually to receive up to a $10,000 grant to cover the travel expenses of visiting mentors of their choosing. Applicants complete a detailed online submission, including a proposed budget and an itinerary of trips to visit mentors. Recipients have one calendar year to complete their trips. The program is open to AAOS Candidate Members and Active Fellows.

Downloadable applications for the 2009 TFP are now available online at http://www3.aaos.org/Member/tfp/tfp.cfm. Applications and all supporting materials must be submitted via e-mail no later than September 15, 2008 to Erin L. Ransford, AAOS Medical Research Coordinator, at ransford@aaos.org.
