Associate Attendee Meet-and-Greet: Crossing Borders

Organized by the ORS Associate Members Forum and New Investigator Mentoring Committee
With the hectic schedules and elevated stress levels associated with attending a national conference, there is little time for early career attendees to meet and mingle in a low-key setting. This fun and relaxed mixer is an opportunity for young investigator attendees to speak and learn about one another in such a setting. Our goal is to embrace and celebrate the incredible diversity of the ORS with this year’s theme: “Crossing Borders”. This event will be the perfect opportunity exclusively for Assistant Professor, Resident, Fellow, Post Doc, Student & PhD Candidate attendees to meet other attendees who come from other parts of both this country and the world.

Perfecting the ORS Annual Meeting Experience
7:00 AM – 8:00 AM
This interactive session moderated by a panel of experienced ORS members will help Annual Meeting attendees make the most of their meeting experience and will provide an outline of meeting enhancements.
2019 ORS Mentor Match Program – Meet & Greet
5:30 PM – 6:00 PM
This program pairs early career investigators with experienced professionals within our research community with the hope that the two will learn from one another and enjoy a stronger, more fruitful professional experience. ORS’ multidisciplinary membership offers a myriad of opportunities to connect.
To participate in the program, check “Mentor” or “Mentee” under Mentor Match Program on the registration form. An email will be sent with a link to complete the “Mentor” and/or “Mentee” forms.
