About the Meeting
The ORS ISFR 18th Biennial Meeting is intended to foster growth and innovation in the field of fracture repair, bone regeneration and orthopaedic trauma. This cross-disciplinary meeting aims to bring together scientists, clinicians, engineers, and trainees with the goal of presenting pre-publication work and exchanging ideas that will drive advancement in the field.
The ORS International Section of Fracture Repair (ISFR) and the OTA Basic Science Focus Forum (BSFF) will collaborate for a joint session on Wednesday, October 23 as part of the OTA (Orthopaedic Trauma Association) Annual Meeting, that takes place October 23 – 26 in Montréal, Canada. The OTA is an international organization of orthopaedic surgeons and medical professionals dedicated to the care and treatment of patients with injuries to the musculoskeletal system, especially fractures and dislocations.

In collaboration with the Orthopaedic Trauma Association (OTA), ORS registrants are also invited to attend the ORS ISFR/OTA Basic Science Focus Forum BSFF Joint Session on Wednesday, October 23, 2024 at NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE. A badge is required to attend and separate registration required. All attendees must pick up an OTA badge on-site at the Montreal Convention Center for the ORS ISFR/OTA BSFF Joint Session.
A complimentary code will be provided in both the on-screen registration confirmation and the email confirmation you receive after registering with ORS, as well as a discount code for the OTA Annual Meeting*.
*If you wish to attend the OTA Annual Meeting from October 23 – 26, please register separately through the OTA platform.
Call for Abstracts Now Closed
Abstracts submitted or presented at this meeting can also be submitted to the ORS 2025 Annual Meeting. There is no guarantee of acceptance if the abstract is resubmitted to the Annual Meeting in 2025.

Eligibility: Must be an ISFR Section Member (Student or Post-Graduate Trainees ONLY)
Poster and Podium Awards
Awards will be given to the authors of the top 3 Podium and Poster presentations, based on quality of submission and delivery.
Podium Awards: $500.00 each
Poster Awards: $250.00 each
