The Call for Late Breaking Abstract Submissions Opens October 14.
You can still be a part of the ORS 2025 Annual Meeting by submitting a late breaking abstract. Late breaking abstract submission will open on October 14 and close on November 11.
One Podium session will be dedicated to selected late breaking abstracts.
The late-breaking abstract submission allows for the submission of truly late-breaking scientific research for which no preliminary data were available at the time of the August 26, 2024, abstract submission deadline.
- Work that has been accepted prior to the ORS late-breaking submission deadline of November 11, 2024, for publication as a manuscript or will be presented prior to the ORS meeting in February 2025 is ineligible for consideration. Please note: Abstracts presented at an ORS regional/satellite meeting, i.e., Tendon Conference, PSRS, do not fall under these guidelines.
- This late breaking submission is not a mechanism to allow for updated data to complement preliminary research abstracts that were submitted by the general submission deadline of August 26.
- Abstract must present results of work substantially performed prior to submission and no two abstracts that share one or more authors may overlap significantly in content. Abstract is based upon the best available evidence and does not promote or recommend relevant products or services as part of the abstract presentation.
- There is a $45.00 non-refundable fee to submit a late breaking abstract.
- Acceptance notices for Late Breaking abstracts will be sent on December 4.
*Abstracts submitted by the August 26 deadline will be sent acceptance notices on November 6.

Abstracts Accepted for a Poster Presentation
Poster Presenters will be able to get approval to attend the meeting in person and display a poster in the Poster/Exhibit Hall during the appropriate poster session. ORS is planning to secure a paid poster printing service that you can utilize to print and hang your poster. All poster authors are encouraged to embed a QR code that leads to a self-recorded talk (3 minutes in length). This adds special value to you as an author and provides details of your presentation throughout the meeting.
Abstracts Accepted for Podium Presentation
The presenting author will be able to get approval to attend the meeting and present in person. The presenting author may bring an interpreter (which can be a co-author or supervisor who will register and pay the appropriate registration fee) to assist them during the question and answer period following the podium presentation.
