The 3rd Annual ORS Art x Science Showcase at the 2026 Annual Meeting is a scientific image showcase organized by the ORS Ambassadors. Attendees and authors/co-authors of meeting abstracts were encouraged to submit scientific images related to musculoskeletal research. Art x Science highlights the intersection between art and science in the musculoskeletal system and promotes creativity in non-traditional forms of scientific expression.
Images were submitted prior to the meeting and voted on by 121 voters, comprising both attendees and non-attendees. We received a total of 40 submissions this year: 22 other scientific images, 6 AI-generated images, and 12 hand-drawn images. Following are the winning top three images from each of three categories.
