Innovations in Musculoskeletal Research
Musculoskeletal disorders and diseases are the leading cause of disability in the United States and account for more that one-half of all chronic conditions in people over 50 years of age in developed countries. Orthopaedic research has resulted in innovations that have directly lead to novel therapeutic treatments that improve patient outcomes and standard of care. In 2015 the ORS members coalesced 6 of our most prominent recent innovations.
The flyer below is intended to advocate for continued research to support Innovations that impacts millions of Americans each year: this flyer can be left behind at Advocacy events, provided at visits to Congress, educational outreach events, or at lab tours.
