The Foot and Ankle Community Network is an extension of the research network that has informally begun around the Foot and Ankle Research Interest Group (RIG) that has functioned at the ORS since 2018. The goals of the network are to foster communication and collaboration amongst ORS foot and ankle researchers. The objectives are to improve the quality of the Foot and Ankle RIG, and to eventually elevate it to a section within ORS.

This network will strengthen the ORS Mission & Vision by creating meaningful professional connections and fostering the growth and development of the next generation of orthopaedic researchers.

Community Networks give ORS members of all different backgrounds, career levels, and experiences a way to connect with each other. Community Networks are self-identified, organically established communities offering opportunities for members to connect with each other, share experiences, and form life-long friendships and collaborations.
