The meet & greet and seminar are both free to attend. However, advanced registration is required and space is limited for both.
ORS Members and non-members who have attended a past ORS meeting/event/course will login as an existing user. Dr. Cathy S. Carlson received a DVM degree at the University of Minnesota and completed a PhD degree and 3-year postdoctoral fellowship at North Caroline State University; she is a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Pathology. Dr. Carlson was a member of the faculty of the Department of Comparative Medicine at Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina for eight years before accepting a faculty position at the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine, where she currently holds the position of Professor and Chair, Department of Veterinary Clinical Sciences. Dr. Carlson’s research focuses on orthopaedic diseases, primarily osteoarthritis and osteochondrosis, and has been continuously funded by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) for over 30 years. She has published 4 book chapters and over 150 peer-reviewed scientific papers and has served on many NIH grant review panels.
