Join the ORS Preclinical Models Section Community!

The ORS Preclinical Models Section launched in 2016 with the mission to represent the voice of preclinical models research within the ORS community and beyond; and to advance preclinical models research and related sciences to improve patient care through basic, translational and clinical research.

As a Section member, you will have unique and exclusive opportunities to engage and connect with the #ORSNation year-round whether in-person or virtual at any career stage through:

Community Connections: networking/social hours, online community forums, Section member awards recognizing excellence in research, and the quarterly Section e-newsletter,
Preclinical Press or via Twitter with #ORSPreclinical.

Cultivating Leadership and Volunteer Experiences: Serve as a Section Officer or on a Section Committee or micro-volunteer opportunities (Section Awards Reviewer).

Education and Career Development: annual Section Scientific Meeting during the ORS Annual Meeting, virtual scientific sessions, satellite meetings/events, and other Section organized programs.

Research and Latest Discoveries: This Section is a natural evolution of discussions held over a number of years between veterinarians and non-veterinarians within the ORS, all of whom use animal models in their research and who struggle with the issues that this work raises and much more!

ORS Research Section Membership requires that you are currently an ORS member in good standing.  If you are already an ORS member you can join a section at any time. Section dues are $50.00.
